I am a composer, jazz drummer, and educator. My work is driven by a fascination with freedom in music—how improvisation, composition, and collaboration can create spaces where performers make meaningful artistic choices. I enjoy working across contemporary classical music, jazz, and everything in between, and I'm always looking for new ways of bringing those worlds together

I grew up in Spain, where I started building my career as both a drummer and a composer, before moving to the Netherlands to continue my studies and expand my artistic practice. Since then, I've been fortunate to perform regularly with different bands and projects at jazz festivals and concert venues across Europe, while my music has also been presented by festivals and institutions such as November Music Festival, Intro in Situ, Siena Jazz, Jazz in the Park, and Transilvania Jazz Festival.

My background includes a Bachelor's degree in Composition , a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Drums , a Master's degree in Classical Composition, and I am currently completing a Master's degree in Jazz Drums . Studying both composition and performance has shaped the way I think about music, and today those two sides of my work are impossible to separate.

Teaching is another big part of my life. I regularly travel to give workshops, lectures, and masterclasses, and I am currently a lecturer at Maastricht Conservatorium in the Netherlands, where I teach subjects including Critical Listening, Non-Idiomatic Improvisation, and Artistic Research. Whether I'm teaching, composing, or performing, I'm interested in helping people become more curious, creative, and confident in their own artistic voice.

Thanks for stopping by—I hope you enjoy exploring the projects, collaborations, and music you'll find on this website.
